Lasseter is a hidden gem located just outside Glen Ellen, with stunning views, gracious hospitality, and a variety of immersive experiences: Cellar Tour and Private Salon Tasting, Estate Vineyard Tour and Tasting, or Patio Tasting. Cheese and charcuterie plates are available, and unique culinary pairings are included in select experiences.
The Lasseters fell in love with wine and the art of blending through their travels to the South of France. We produce small lot Rhône and Bordeaux inspired white, rosé, and red wines (along with old vine Zinfandel in a field blend). Our wines are sourced exclusively from our organically farmed estate vineyards at the winery, and at the height of elevation in the Moon Mountain District.

Tucked in the Moon Mountain District AVA, Moon Hollow’s 18-acre vineyard is rooted in rugged volcanic soils. Organically farmed and carefully tended, the vineyard produces wines that capture the intensity and character of this mountain terroir. The estate focuses on five varietals: Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Each is shaped by the land, the light, and the rhythms of the season.
In 2024, Moon Hollow opened its first public tasting room on the historic Sonoma Plaza. Open seven days a week, the space blends chic design with a relaxed Sonoma farmhouse style. Guests are warmly welcomed with or without a reservation to enjoy comparative flights and seasonal releases in the indoor lounge or on the garden patio, with access to both current vintages and perfectly cellared library selections.
Rising to 2,500 feet on the western slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains, Mountain Terraces Vineyard is a premier high-elevation estate in the Moon Mountain District AVA. Spanning 200 rugged acres, with 50 acres of vineyards across 30 distinct blocks, it offers sweeping views of Sonoma Valley and the San Francisco Bay. Volcanic soils, abundant sunlight, and balanced temperatures promote extended hang time and optimal ripeness. Meticulously farmed with sustainable practices, each vine reflects a commitment to quality. Under winemaker Steve Ledson’s guidance, minimal-intervention techniques yield wines that are powerful yet refined, expressive, structured, and beautifully age-worthy.
