Join an intimate, curated tasting of wines produced from each vineyard, while enjoying a sommelier-moderated discussion amongst the winemakers who crafted them. An exquisite wine paired farm-to-table lunch follows making for a perfectly immersive wine country excursion.

A FRESH TAKE ON A CALIFORINIA CLASSIC:
SITE-SPECIFIC CHARDONNAYS FROM CARNEROS

SANGIACOMO FAMILY VINEYARDS

10:30AM – 1:30PM

A cadre of Sonoma Valley’s cool-climate focused winemakers bring a renewed focus and discipline to one of the most well-loved varieties, sourced from the distinctive soils and wind-driven climate of the Los Carneros district of Sonoma Valley. Join hosts and brothers, Steve and Mike Sangiacomo, winegrowers who’s family has been farming since 1927, to walk the vineyards in the Carneros district producing these site-specific chardonnays. A lively panel discussion will then take place with the exceptionally talented winemakers who are crafting these brilliant chardonnays from Carneros. Guests will then be invited to the Catarina Gardens for a beautiful lunch nestled in the heart of Carneros and a not-open-to-the-public outdoor dining room of the Sangiacomo family.

MOUNTAIN CABERNETS | MOON MOUNTAIN DISTRICT

SILVER CLOUD VINEYARD

10:30AM – 1:30PM

Famed winemaker, Jeff Baker, will personally welcome Immersion guests to the private Silver Cloud Vineyard, a mountain estate located 1,800 feet above the Sonoma Valley floor on the west side of the Mayacamas range, to experience the only wine region in California that has 100% volcanic soils. Joining Jeff for a vineyard walk will be Phil Coturri, Viticulturist and legendary winegrower who meticulously tends to the vineyards. Guests will then enjoy a vineyard-side tasting and round table discussion to learn and taste how the Moon Mountain District vineyards translate into distinctive and powerful, yet silky wines. This special Immersion will end with a private lunch prepared from the estate’s edible garden. Culinary Director John McReynolds will craft a special seasonal menu inspired by the acclaimed wines of Moon Mountain District.

A very limited number of seats are available for this special Immersion set in the Bedrock Vineyard – one of the most historically and qualitatively gilded plots of land in Sonoma Valley. Each of the featured wines in this unique tasting are vineyard designates exclusively from Sonoma Valley’s many centuries-old historic vineyards, dating as far back as 1888. Ancient vines produce wines of remarkable character and depth, but in very small quantities. Taste and learn from the founding vintner of Ravenswood Winery, Joel Peterson and the panel of winegrowers who have mastered how to coax the most out of these vineyards that have withstood the test of time.
