Our story begins in the summer of 1998. George, Doug, Nat and Carl were a group of close friends that shared an overwhelming passion for great wine. After years of conversation, they fell in love with the idea behind Westwood Wine – wine that expressed all that was good in life embodied in the bottle. 

Westwood Estate is singularly focused on making world-class Burgundian & Rhone varietals from our Annadel Gap Vineyard. We incorporate precision winegrowing and common biodynamic practices to craft the highest quality and authenticity of our estate grown wines. Our small-production wines are truly handcrafted, with less than 3,500 cases produced. The majority of our lots consist of only 3-4 barrels of a select clone or blend.

The Westwood Estate tasting experience is an in-depth wine conversation encompassing who we are, a story of our past, and our vision for the future. During your visit, our focus on wine-growing, the nuances of terroir and a strong sense of place will shine through in the glass.

Our tasting salon is located just off of the Sonoma Square and we suggest that guests allow 60-90 minutes for any of our tasting flights.
