Toje (pronounced TOI-yuh) is a small, family-run winery in Sonoma founded by husband-and-wife team Johannes and Jenny Scheid alongside longtime friend, Patrick. Rooted in old-world hospitality and thoughtful craftsmanship, Toje focuses on limited-production wines that reflect vineyard, season, and place with honesty and restraint.

Specializing in site-driven wines from exceptional vineyards, including the Petaluma Gap, Sonoma Coast, Napa Valley, and Cole Ranch AVA, Toje embraces low-intervention winemaking practices such as native yeast fermentations, gentle handling, and patient aging to allow each wine to speak naturally.

Visits to Toje are intimate and hosted personally by the founders in a private cave setting. Designed to feel less like a traditional tasting experience and more like being welcomed to someone’s table, the experience centers around genuine conversation, hospitality, and meaningful connection through wine.
