Idell Family Vineyards (IFV) grows and sells premium chardonnay grapes to several well-known wine producers including Broc Cellars, Korbin Kameron Wines, Michael Cruse/Ultramarine Wines, Maitre de Chai, Matthaisson and IFV. Nestled in Sonoma Valley, Idell Family Vineyards is located approximately two and a half miles west of the town of Sonoma. The vineyards are adjacent to (and believed to be originally part of) the original estate of Sonoma Valley pioneer Nicholas Carriger, where the first commercial grapes in Sonoma Valley were produced.
IFV also produces very limited production wines: Chardonnay, Syrah, a Sonoma field blend (Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane, Mourvedre and Grenache and a Rhone blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah.
Idell Family wines can be found on local Sonoma restaurant menus. The wines are available for purchase directly from Idell Family Vineyards or via the Wine Club.
