This morning, Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers gathered for a Vineyard Crawl at Los Chamizal Vineyard with Peter Haywood of @HaywoodWines. Peter led the group through the terraced vineyard, discussed farming best practices, rootstock and clones utilized, as well as site challenges and unique characteristics of the vineyard. An additional presentation on resource conservation, specifically LandSmart plan development, was made by Anya Starovoytov of @SonomaRCD.
