The Stone Edge Farm Winery story began in 1995 when Mac and Leslie McQuown discovered a special place at the base of Sonoma Mountain to grow outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Mac joined forces with his friend, Jeff Baker, who brought to their venture four decades of winemaking experience and a vineyard of his own — Mount Pisgah, located high on the west slope of the Mayacamas Mountains that separate the Napa and Sonoma valleys.
