The MacLeod family of @MacLeodFamilyVineyard held a Celebration of Life for George M. MacLeod on Sunday, May 27 at Indian Springs Ranch. Peter Haywood of @HaywoodWinery, on behalf of The Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance, shared there will be a special planting of a tree in memory of George M. MacLeod in the Kenwood Plaza Park and presented a Congressional Record written by Congressman Mike Thompson. The Congressional Record honors George M. MacLeod’s life and legacy as an influential leader in the beginning years of the grapegrowing industry in Sonoma Valley and the first President of @SonomaValleyWine.
