ICON: A GRAND TERROIR TASTING

The ICON Grand Terroir Tasting will offer guests a deep dive into the distinctive terroir and world-class region of Sonoma Valley through this unique and highly curated exploration of the region. A vast palette of terrains, the Sonoma Valley region encompasses 6 distinct wine growing appellations, each of which produces unique styles of classic varietals. Wine selections will showcase the stylistic range and strength of each appellation within the region.

TIMEFRAME: 7:00-10:00PM
LOCATION: Ram’s Gate Winery
WINERY REPRESENTATION: Proprietor or Winemaker required to attend. An additional winery representative is permitted to attend to assist with pouring at your pouring station.
WINE QUANTITY FOR EVENT: 8 BOTTLES
WINE SUBMISSIONS: Submit no more than ONE wine per region for consideration.

SELECTION CRITERIA

1. Submitted wines should be of exceptional quality for the vintage, variety, style, and growing region.
2. All wines submitted for this tasting must be AVA or Vineyard Designated within one of the following regions: Bennett Valley, Los Carneros, Moon Mountain District, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma Mountain and Sonoma Valley,
3. The panel will consider which wines show as “best of class” for the submitted varietal and growing region.
