Master shucker and proprietress of The Oyster Girls in Petaluma, Aluxa Lalicker will lead a hands-on workshop on the art (and science) of shucking these beloved briny bivalves. The workshop will include an overview of oyster farming, a live demonstration as well as individual instruction. Each participant will receive a dozen oysters to shuck and enjoy, along with a glass of our 2017 Sightline Chenin Blanc x Verdejo field blend, releasing in May.
Workshop is $85 a person, and includes a dozen oysters and a glass of Abbot’s Passage to strengthen your resolve.
