FAIRMONT SONOMA MISSION INN & SPA: HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING
Location:
Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, 100 Boyes Blvd., Sonoma
Date:
11/29/2014
5:00 pm
Guests and neighbors are invited to officially kick off “the season” on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 5:00pm for The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony – on its way to becoming a Wine Country holiday family tradition.
Join us around the 100- year old historic sycamore tree that graces the resort’s main entrance, when Santa Claus and our very own guest of honor, El Verano Elementary School and Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance mentee, Daniel Omar Rodriguez will officially launch Wine Country’s holiday season. Daniel is a 6-year old first grader who enjoys basketball, soccer and baseball. He will illuminate the classic sentinel which will be adorned with thousands of snow-white twinkling LED lights. Dickens-era costumed carolers, holiday confections and visits with Santa promise to “merry” kids of all ages!
Adorn the resort’s Tree of Hope with donations of $10, $25 or $50 to benefit the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance. Trees of Hope is a Fairmont corporate based initiative lending support to local philanthropic organizations serving the needs of children.
