Call of the Valley Film Debut – two showings: March 29, 9:30 am, Sonoma International Film Festival April 5, 6 pm, Sebastiani Theater The historical documentary, produced by local filmmaker Julie Morrison, depicts Sonoma Valley’s evolution as a mecca for Native Americans, missionaries, rancheros, the military and American pioneers. Twenty locals are interviewed, including historians Robert Parmelee and Gaye LeBaron. Sam Sebastiani, Hank Marioni, Jim Bundschu, Alexa Wood, and Angelo Sangiacomo recount trials and tribulations of keeping a family business afloat over several generations.
