@laurelglenwine Winemaker Randall Watkins is busy with harvest and he sent in the following thoughts and pics from his latest vineyard walk: “The 2018 growing season is looking like the first “normal” vintage in many years! After years of drought and early harvests, 2018 had ample rain in the winter and warm days without too much heat in the summer. Bud break, flowering, and veraison all came at the “normal” time with great weather. We have a good amount of fruit ripening, for the 1st time in years.
