Since 1897, the Vintage Festival has brought the community together to celebrate the annual
harvest season in Sonoma Valley. The event honors our region’s rich winemaking legacy and
agricultural heritage in the birthplace of California Wine.
Join us as we commemorate the 200th Anniversary of Sonoma Valley Wine, the Year of the
Vintner. Two centuries ago, the first wine grapes were harvested in Sonoma Valley, and we’ll
celebrate that milestone together with community-wide festivities.
Weekend activities include Sonoma Valley Harvest Dinner, Grand Tasting, Daytime Festival with
live music, artisan fair, kids activities, food and wine tasting, Grape Stomp, 5K Fun Run, and new this year, The Great Spritz Off.
Proceeds of the Vintage Festival weekend benefit Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers
Foundation, a 501 (c) 6 non-profit organization whose mission is activating the generosity of
Sonoma Valley vintners and growers to support a thriving local community. The Foundation
contributes to a healthy Sonoma Valley through grant making, scholarships, and charitable
programs.
