PHIL COTURRI, Winegrower
Legendary Sonoma Valley winegrower Phil Coturri has been growing grapes here for the better part of 50 years. His first vintage was harvested with his father at age 13. That was 1965 and, well, the rest is Sonoma Valley history. Since founding Enterprise Vineyards in 1979, few, if any single person has contributed more to the quality of Sonoma Valley wine and to the local community.
So it should be no surprise that a visit to Phil’s personal cellar is like a trip back in time to the most formative years of Sonoma Valley wine growing.
