“Messages from the Sky” is an exhibition of abstract photographs drawn from details of an old piece of airplane wreckage found on Mt. Tamalpais in 2002 that dates back to the 1940s. The exhibition includes photographs and a part of the fuselage that was found on the site. Scheid created the images, the archival prints and he hand made their frames with reclaimed redwood from the area. The textures, shapes and patinas etched onto the surface of the plane after years of basking in rain and sunlight inspire the imagination of the viewer. Rob’s work explores how the human experience connects the natural world with the inner world of the heart and mind.

Owner and winemaker, Michael Muscardini, has held life-long connections to art. Having attended Oakland's California College of the Arts and Crafts, he approaches everything with creativity and loves sharing his passion for art with friends and family. Michael Muscardini invites you to join him for the opening of this new exhibition on Friday, April 26th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
