Wine+Design Lunches were a new element to Signature Sonoma Valley this year. @BeltaneRanch was the perfect location to show off a historic Sonoma Valley estate with the 5th generation owners revealing its story. Alexa Wood and Fran Meininger crafted an amazing lunch that took guests from the native American Miwok / Wappo inspired dish, through the Heins Family Farming history, to Mary Ellen Pleasant and the present day agricultural and innkeeping family. Sonoma Valley Wine Board Member Lauren Benward Krause, her brother Alex Benward, and Winemaker Kevin Holt presented the Beltane Ranch Wines and property along the way.
