Ronda and Brion Wise will open up their private residence to a handful of Signature Sonoma Valley guests for a memorable WINE+DESIGN lunch. Nestled along a meandering wine country road, the B. Wise Vineyard estate is a beautiful example of Sonoma Valley’s wine lifestyle, where private residences are as spectacular as they are secluded. Sited on a ridge with panoramic 50-mile views of the San Francisco Bay, the B. Wise estate was designed with an eye toward minimizing the usual boundaries between indoors and outdoors, a style that Brion and Ronda enjoy whenever visiting Italy and Provence. Guests will be treated to Ronda’s interiors, unique furniture, and architectural aspects as well as her personal art collection, which include original pieces by Orv Taylor of Manhattan Beach, California and by Armando Martinez from San Miguel, Mexico. Ronda’s eclectic collection boasts sculptural pieces from local artisans and collectibles and fabrics gathered on international travels. This is a delightful setting for a once-in-a-lifetime afternoon

The Setting
B. WISE VINEYARDS
Brion was originally attracted to the estate property because of its reputation for wine grapes. Vineyards in Moon Mountain District date back to the nineteenth century. It is Brion’s style and preference to create projects from the ground up, and that’s what he did with B. Wise Vineyards. When he first came here to Sonoma, there was a dirt road with no easements. He drilled a well and ran everything on generators. That’s his kind of fun. For him and his wife Ronda, this is their definition of what it means to be alive.
