The Experience

Immersion takes you behind-the-vines at two of Sonoma Valley’s most iconic vineyards.* These are remote sites that few people have the opportunity to visit, let alone enjoying a proprietor-guided exploration of their fascinating nuances. Join an intimate, curated tasting of wines produced from each vineyard, while enjoying a sommelier-moderated discussion amongst the winemakers who crafted them.

Guests reunite at the idyllic Beltane Ranch for an exquisite farm lunch featuring more vineyard designate wines from acclaimed Sonoma Valley sites. Hosted by the fifth-generation Beltane Ranch family and their estate chef, this will be a meal not soon forgotten.

*At registration, guests will select either the Durell Vineyard or the Kamen Estate Vineyard experience.

Vineyard Selections

Option One:

Durell Vineyard

The ideal conditions for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir converge at Durell vineyard, here in the southwestern hills of Sonoma Valley. It’s no wonder that several of the region’s top wineries source fruit from this acclaimed site.

The Hosts

Rob Harris, who heads vineyard operations at Durell Vineyard, will personally welcome Immersion guests for their visit to this celebrated site. Joining Rob will be Prema Behan of Three Sticks, which produces several acclaimed wines from this property. Together, Rob and Prema will share their intimate knowledge of Durell Vineyard and all that makes it so special. Guests will then enjoy a vineyard-side tasting and round table discussion of the very best Durell Vineyard designate wines, joined by the exceptionally talented winemakers who crafted them.

Kamen Estate Vineyards — SOLD OUT

With its stunning views of the San Francisco Bay, Kamen Estate Vineyard in the Moon Mountain District is a beautiful microcosm of Sonoma Valley’s incredible soil and climate diversity, and is legendary for the world-class Cabernet Sauvignon it produces.

The Hosts

Kamen Estate proprietor and famed Hollywood screenwriter Robert Kamen will personally welcome guests to the stunning mountainside vineyard that he calls home. Legendary Sonoma Valley winegrower Phil Coturri, who meticulously tends to the vineyards; Mark Herold, the winemaker behind Kamen Estate’s highly regarded wines; and Master Sommelier Christophe Tassan; will join Robert in welcoming Immersion guests for this intimate exploration of this incomparable site.

TASTING PANEL

The tasting panel for this experience will feature a vertical tasting of several prized Kamen Estate Cabernet Sauvignon vintages poured from library magnums.

Farm Lunch

Beltane Ranch Vineyard & Winery

Renowned Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel producer Beltane Ranch is a dynamic 105-acre Agricultural Preserve: Home to a landmark 1892 Ranch House Inn overlooking estate gardens, orchards, grazing cattle, and vineyards dating back to 1879.

The Hosts

Six generations of the Wood/Benward/Krause family have lived and farmed sustainably on the Beltane Ranch for more than 70 years, and they are committed to preserving it for future generations. Beltane Ranch’s reigning matriarch Alexa Wood, her children Lauren Benward Krause and Alex Benward, and winemaker Kevin Holt will all be on hand to welcome Immersion guests to their picturesque Glen Ellen property for a farm-to-table lunch prepared by their talented Estate Chef Lauren Kershner.
