France’s Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône varietals such as Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre have long since been coveted by wine enthusiasts and vintners around the world. California winemakers have followed suit, making Rhône’s and Rhône-style blends a staple and cult classic. With similar growing conditions and versatility, Sonoma Valley’s Rhône-style wines rival that of Europe’s, today. Graceful and complex in character, world-class Rhône’s have been produced in Sonoma Valley for years, and they are here to stay.

Nestled along meandering wine country roads, tucked behind ornate private gateways, Sonoma Valley is home to many exclusive estates that are as spectacular as they are secluded. Ledson Family Ranch (C.C. Ranch) dates back to the early 1900’s. A picturesque and simple setting located in the heart of Kenwood’s valley, the ranch symbolizes a badge of rich family history and is decorated with some classics.

The capstone event of the weekend, the Legends Dinner showcases twelve renowned vineyard sites, with collector’s item wines made from their vines. While the true hosts are the vineyard sites themselves, vineyard owners will share the stories of these historic vines. Winemakers will bring wines from their personal collections to share at the table – wines that have aged extraordinarily well and speak to the history, passion and innovation that defines Sonoma Valley.
