For Ram’s Gate Executive Chef Taylr Behnam, all epicurean endeavors begin with wine. Her team first tastes each bottling carefully, thoughtfully and repeatedly to understand its unique composition of flavors and texture. They then consider the wine as an ingredient itself in the palate masterpiece the team envisions before selecting supplementary ingredients to highlight the wine to the fullest.
On February 15th, that supplementary ingredient is also the co-star of the evening: complex, fragrant, toothsome olive oils. Join us for an intimate, wine-inspired Winemaker Dinner at Ram’s Gate Winery in celebration of VinOlivo weekend. First, glass of sparkling wine in hand, venture on a tour of the winery and partake in a barrel tasting led by Assistant Winemaker Jesse Fox. The five-course dinner will then feature five Ram’s Gate current and pre-release wines, each paired with a course designed by Chef Taylr and presented as a wine and food odyssey across Sonoma County.
